The Cafe
Heavenly Morning Shelter
On street level, the café can be experienced. It winds its way through the small house - and holds secrets best discussed while enjoying a beer or a glass of wine. There is strong and freshly brewed coffee to go with today´s newspapers. Copenhagen´s eternal noise from hasty cars and the ever-absorbing urgency of the city disappears. In Zeleste´s wing span, peace of mind can be found in lunch delicacies served with style and flair.

For late comers; the choise of freshly made brunch - while lunch tempts with a special plate of delicacies, or hot meals with a touch of foreign skies.

If many people wish to have lunch at Zeleste at the same time, the house seats 70 - or takes 130 standing visitors. They can be offered lunch extraordinaire or extravaganza.

The Restaurant
A Walk Through the Clouds
The restaurant is Zeleste´s true love. It is inspiring and intimate - situated above the café, it has room for 40 people. Reservations are required, as seats are quickly occupied by turtledoves and other birds out to enjoy an evening.

The dressing of plates depends heavily on the time of the year. The menu is not extensive as far as choice is concerned, but when it comes to quality. The wine list is moderate but deliberate. Classic examples of European vine or exciting drops from the up-and-coming vineyards of South Africa and Australia can be picked. Highly recommendable aperitifs are served in the bar.

The terrace

Behind her facade, Zeleste has even more to offer her guests: a terrace straight out of Southern Europe, where le chef du grill cooks delicacies that make the taste buds budge. When rain fall over the country, the guests are shielded with a gigantic sail - and the summer may continue under Zeleste´s wings. When dawn comes to dusk, the oil lamps are lit.

The basic ingredients are chosen in the silent cool of the morning - and usually include animals of the sea and of the land.
